21st Century Learning

Direct link to the video embedded in Clay Burell’s aforelinked article. In it, he basically goes through an assignment given to his students to create there own textbook on a wiki – an idea I’ve suggested implementing in the past.

And it didn’t stop there. We went from the wiki textbook to use weblogs, or blogs, for students to write their understanding of history not for the teacher and boring schooly [sic] essays, but in real world writing with a real world audience on this Broken World blog.

Perfect link to send to that technology naysayer in your school or district!
